Bill Tee

Bill Tee Originally from Staines, has been resident in the Poole area since 1973.  After qualifying  in Southampton in Marine Electronics served Shell Tankers as a Radio Officer traveling worldwide.

Bill also worked for a marine electronics company based on Poole Quay, installing and maintaining all types of equipment on leisure craft around Poole Harbour.

When Bill took early retirement in 2008 he purchased a sailing yacht and after sailing her back from Sweden, cruises the UK south coast, North and Atlantic Coasts of France as far as the North Coast of Spain.  He is qualified to RYA Coastal Skipper with a commercial endorsement at Day Skipper and Power Boat level II.

After a year crewing for Dolphin III, he joined the team of Skippers in 2014.  It doesn't get much better than being able to give so much pleasure to the passengers of Dolphin III whilst skippering a boat around the second largest natural harbour in the world.

In addition to being involved with The Friends of Dolphin, Bill is also a volunteer Sea Safety Adviser for the RNLI and gives free advice onboard leisure craft based in the Poole area.
